February 19- 24, 2015 | Daily Pictures

It’s Friday! And we have a little weekend getaway to the mountains planned and I’m so excited!

Here’s this week’s pictures:

February 19: Hunting. Seriously, this cat stalks me so often.

sm120150219-LP9A5693cricketFebruary 20: Grumpy Gavin. Today, my little nephew came to visit. For the first time ever, I got to experience his grumpy side. Oh well, he’s still cute.

sm120150220-LP9A5727gavinFebruary 21: Roch. This is my sister’s crazy puppy. He’s so hyperactive and tried chewing Colby’s shoes… while they were still on his feet. Ha.

sm120150221-LP9A5753rochFebruary 22: Snow day. Today, we stayed mostly at home because it was snowing like crazy and a little icy, but we did make a quick trip to town for milk.

sm120150222-LP9A5758snowFebruary 23: Snow! We had another day of moisture. We are getting really excited about our winter wheat crop now!

sm120150223-LP9A5770houseFebruary 24: Fajitas and the Thunder. Today, we had a quiet night at home. Colby cooked fajitas and then we watched our favorite basketball team play.

sm120150213-LP9A5624stockingFebruary 14: Valentines Day Fun at the Farm. We had a lovely cookout with family on Valentines Day.

sm120150214-LP9A5652ValentinesDayFebruary 15: Santa’s face. Another stocking pictures, another huge amount of progress. This week, I spent a lot of time stitching while watching television.

sm120150215-LP9A5661stockingFebruary 16: Cheesy Tortellini. Today, I tried out a new recipe for dinner. It was delicious.

sm120150216-LP9A5665torelliniFebruary 17: My guy. He let me snap a picture of him on his way out the door.

sm120150217-LP9A5673colbyFebruary 18: Colby’s modeling debut. Look what picture made the National Corn Growers magazine! I entered this contest last fall and they used my picture in their magazine that went out with the Progressive Farmer monthly addition. It’s all really exciting!

Week of: January 26- February 1, 2015.

What happened this week: This was a really difficult week. Our dog, Justice, continued to get sicker and sicker. It was quite rough.

blog-2015-1-week5-leftAnything special this week: This was another great kit. I loved the papers and the colors.

blog-2015-1-week5-rightOverall thoughts: As hard as it was to record Justice’s last week, I am glad I have it out of the way. He played such a big part of story and it wouldn’t be right to leave that out.
